  • First of all, exit all the programs. Press the Windows key plus R to open the Run dialogue box. 
  • Type in 'msconfig' and press Enter. When the User Account Control window appears, then click Yes or Continue. 
  • In the System Configuration window, on the Boot tab, select the Safe boot and Network. Now, click OK. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on Restart. The computer will restart in safe mode with networking. Now you can install Norton. 

Install Norton Security Product

  • First, go to MyNorton.com and select the Sign In option. Now, enter your credentials, then select Sign In. 
  • Next, select Download in the My Norton portal and then choose Agree & Download in the 'Get Started' page. 
  • Once the Download is finished, locate the file and run the installer from the browser. If the user account control dialogue box appears, select Continue. 
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. 
  • To know how to install Norton antivirus on Mac OS, go to MyNorton.com and select Sign in. Enter your credentials, and then select Sign In.
