  • Click on Edit next to each option on the right side of the page and select Only me or Friends 
  • The last step to how to set Facebook to private is to click on Save changes to complete. 

Your profile should become private now, as users that aren’t on your friend list will not be able to view your profile and photos.

STEPS TO HIDE YOUR PROFILE

  • Click on the downward arrow and select Settings & Privacy
  • Select General from the left column to open the General settings on your right
  • Scroll down to find Manage Account – click on it to open

  • After implying all instructions, click on Deactivate and then on Deactivate Now.
